The United States has removed Sudan from its list of state-sponsored terrorists. Sudan was added to the list by the United States in 1 Sud 199 in.

In October, Sudan announced the resumption of diplomatic relations with Israel. US President Donald Trump is said to have a big hand in putting the agreement into practice. Earlier, due to Trump’s mediation, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain also established diplomatic relations with Israel. It is said that because of this friendship, the United States has given great relief to Sudan.

Sudan’s interim government last month signed a peace deal with several terrorist groups that killed millions in the long civil war. In this regard, US President Donald Trump announced that Washington would remove Sudan from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
