The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the schedule for the Women’s Cricket World Cup. According to the schedule, a total of 1 matches will be played in this tournament. The first game of the tournament will be played in March 2022 at the Wellington Basin Reserve. Meanwhile, the final match of the tournament will be played in April, 2022 at the Hegeli Oval in Christchurch, New Zealand. The ICC has announced the schedule from its official Twitter handle.
The cities have been selected for this series. Speaking on the occasion, ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup CEO Andrea Nelson said, “We are all ready to host this tournament. Soon the world will have a new champion.” He also said, “I want people to watch this tournament as much as possible and cheer on the team they like.”
