Kangana’s grandfather Ranaut passed away on Monday evening at his family home in Manali, the actress revealed on Twitter. She said: “Tonight I drove to my parents’ house because my grandfather Shri Braham Chand Ranaut was not feeling well for the past few months. The actress also posted a picture of her late grandfather and added: “He was 90 years old, yet he had an impeccable sense of humor and we all called him Dad. OM Shanti.”

Since an announcement of confinement in March, Kangana has been living with his family in his hometown. She recently traveled to Delhi to meet Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, ahead of her film “Texas”. “Today team #Tejas met honorable defense minister Shri @rajnathsingh ji for his blessings, we also shared the script of our film Tejas with @IAF_MCC and sought few permits, Jai Hind.”

Kangana Ranaut has just announced the completion of her multilingual drama “Thalaivi” and will soon start working on “Tejas” in which she is rehearsing the role of an Air Force officer. In addition to these two films, Kangana will also be seen in the performance entertainer ‘Dhaakad’.
