India v Australia Australia Sunil Gavaskar feels Shuman Gill should open with Mayank Agrawal for the first Test

New Delhi The Indian cricket team had to start the Test series in the absence of Rohit Sharma. There are many questions as to who will play in the opening match for the Indian team with Manak Agrawal. Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar has said that he will give a chance to young Shubman Gill in the opening match with Mayank.

Gavaskar said, “I think Schumann Gill should start with Mayank in the first Test because he showed good form. Allen was there during the boundary practice game and was impressed by Gill’s batting. Because of this, I also believe he was the first In the Test match, the innings should start with Mayank Agrawal.

Former Australia captain Alan Border believes that Gill’s technique suits Australia better than Earth Shaw. Prithvi was flopping in the warm-up game and managed to score 0, 19, 400 and runs in four innings.

“I was in Sydney the other day watching the Indian team’s warm-up match against Australia A. I was very impressed with Gill, I think he has something inside, his technique is good. I know he is young so he can play some shots in a hurry here but he looks really good and serious cricketer. Of all the people I’ve seen, this player will be on my list.

Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either. The shots they wear are very good on a flat pitch but in Australia you have to think before you play a shot. Your shot selection should be good. In my opinion, he seemed a little weak about off-stump. If I had been an Indian selector, I would have kept a close eye on Gill.
