Reliance Jio has written a letter to the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) against its rival companies. Geo says that both Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea are campaigning against Geo in support of the peasant movement. In a letter, Geo demanded strict action from TRAI. Jio has accused the two companies of supporting Jio customers’ protests by using Kisan numbers to port their numbers to their networks through Mobile Number Portability (MNP). Due to which a large number of users are leaving Jio. However, both Airtel and VI have denied the allegations as baseless.

In a letter to TRAI, Reliance Jio sent some pictures of the anti-Jio campaign. In addition, he wrote in his letter that the MNP (Mobile Number Portability) campaign was being run by Airtel and Vodafone Idea in an unethical and non-competitive manner in support of the ongoing peasant movement in northern India. In support of the campaign, agents, employees and retailers of companies are urging Jio customers to support their movement to port Jio numbers to Vodafone Idea and Airtel.

Geo wrote the letter on December 10. However, the company said that it had sent a complaint letter on September 2, 2020, after which the publicity of the two companies continued.

“We categorically deny these basic allegations,” Bharti Airtel said in a statement. While Vodafone Idea said, “We believe in doing business with ethics and Reliance’s allegations are baseless.”
