Delhi Government convenes a one-day meeting to discuss abuse of 2,400 kr. Of community companies Delhi News

NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government convened a one-day special session of Delhi assembly on Thursday to discuss alleged abuse of nearly 2,500 rupees in the municipal companies.
Delhi cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday approved the convening of the one-day session.
Deputy Prime Minister Manish Sisodia shared the information on Twitter. “A special session of Delhi assembly on abuse of 2,400 crore (2,457 crore) in MCD will be held on Thursday,” Sisodia tweeted.

AAP and BJP have locked horns on the matter, and AAP is demanding “Rs 2,500 fraud” after the northern corporation waived 2,457 crore rent fees which the southern corporation had to pay to it. When the trifurcation of the former MCD took place, the southern corporation did not acquire its own office space. It operates from the civic center, which is the office space of the northern corporation, which gave this space to the southern corporation in exchange for rent. The southern corporation MCD owes about 2,457 crore to the northern corporation. Last year’s budget document noted that the northern corporation is to receive Rs 2457 crore from the southern corporation. In the recent budget presented by the commissioner this, which does not mention this amount owed. On the basis of which the AAP claimed that the huge fund had been misused.
Delhi BJP ruled out allegations of fraud as unfounded. “It is a budget proposal by the northern corporate commissioner to waive the fees of Rs 2,500 crore from a southern corporation. AAP calls this fraud ridiculous and false, ”said Delhi BJP spokesman Praveen Shankar Kapoor.
