Those whose gadgets are being investigated include Riya Chakraborty, her brother Shauvik, Sara Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal, Shraddha Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Apart from these, many people’s laptops and mobiles are also being investigated. According to the Ahmedabad Mirror, 300 gadgets have been tested in the laboratory and returned. The data taken from them is being investigated. Apart from these, samples of 225 drugs are also being researched.
Many celebs have increased stress
It is clear that due to the research of gadgets, the stress of many famous people has increased. In the last 45 days, the NCB has sent 85 gadgets to the Forensic Science Directorate at Gandhi Nagar for investigation. Data extracted from gadgets includes deleted photos, videos and more. The NCB has asked the forensic lab to investigate the entire range of forwarded messages and calls, so that drug and smugglers can be tracked.
Many challenges ahead of the agency
However, the agency also faces many challenges in obtaining data from these gadgets. Due to multiple data checks, device support and high security features, there is a problem with data extraction. The agency is using some forensic equipment purchased from Israel to extract data.
