After the completion of this agreement, Reliance Industries will expand its retail business.

The agreement was held: US-based e-commerce company Amazon has objected to an agreement between Reliance Retail and Future Group. After going through all the legal procedures, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) has recently approved the acquisition.

Following the approval, Reliance Retail reached 1,800 stores across the country through Future Group. It has stores of Future Group’s Big Bazaar, FBB, EGD, Central Foodhall formats. Reliance Retail has received investments from around the world, including the United States. The companies have also invested in retail, which has also acquired stakes in another Reliance platform, Geo.
